Later today we were going out for a stroll towards some small and colorful huts we’ve spotted when entering Ærøskøbing. We found a place so beautiful it deserves to be added to the list of “Places to See Before You Die”.
This tiny huts, some even smaller than 10 square meters, painted in red, red-white, different tones of green, yellow and blue are lined up directly at a beautiful beach ashore a beautiful bay.
The huts are lager versions of a beach chair and storage locker for beach utensils. Easy to imagine how the natives appear at their houses on sunny days to spend a day on a beach, playing around with their water toys or having a barbecue.
Time to check out the water – crystal clear, the ground is sandy, no stones or other vegetation. It’s not steep, quite the contrary. A lot of sailboats at anchor… not a surprise. With air temperature at 28° C no need to think twice about what’s next.
The bay open westwards, with the huts easterly promising a sunset just at the right direction (Huts, Beach, Sailboats at anchor, Sunset).
Altogether an overwhelming place on earth!
We are deciding where to go every day after we wake up. We already know that we’ll be deciding to join the other boats and spend the night on the water tomorrow 😉
